Singer-songwriter and guitarist, Pierre Tremblay was playing the blues long before the blues were "in style" in Quebec and across Canada. Originally from the Eastern Townships, he now lives in the Ottawa region after having spent the last twelve years in eastern Quebec.

During his long musical career, Pierre has played on stage with many well known musicians the likes of: Myles Goodwin (April Wine), Paul Harwood (Mahogany Rush), Jim Corcoran and Bertrand Gosselin, Kimball Lee (Bob Seeger), and others. He has also produced his own records and penned music and lyrics for other artists and documentary films.

His most recent project, Blu-Bop, has brought him to stages in Quebec, Ontario and also Florida, where the warm reception of the audience has led to an on-going annual invitation to perform. Pierre is finally realizing a dream project with Blu-Bop, composed of musicians with whom he has enjoyed the best chemistry and creative synergy.

Guitariste-chanteur, Pierre Tremblay jouait du blues avant que le blues soit “à la mode” au Québec et à travers le Canada.  Originaire des Cantons de l’Est, il demeure maintenant dans la région d’Ottawa après un séjour de douze années à Matane, en Gaspésie.

De par sa longue carrière, Pierre s’est produit sur scène avec plusieurs musiciens connus, tels que : Myles Goodwin (April Wine), Paul Harwood (Mahogany Rush), Jim Corcoran et  Bertrand Gosselin, Kimball Lee (Bob Seeger), et autres. Il a aussi produit ses propres disques et a contribué  musique et textes originaux pour d’autres artistes et films documentaires.

Son projet récent Blu-Bop, l’a amené sur des scènes du Québec, de l’Ontario et de la Floride, où le public fut très réceptif et une invitation annuelle est maintenue.

Pierre réalise enfin un projet de rêve avec Blu-Bop, formé des musiciens avec qui il a réalisé la plus grande complicité et la meilleure synergie.
